A Zinc to eat!

A few months ago I was fortunate to have received a gift certificate for one of Albuquerque’s newest restaurant Zinc.

I especially liked being seated on the 2nd floor where I could see the flames flickering and smell the fragrance from the kitchen below!

Entree:
Prime rib, sliced tenderloin & seabass

Can you tell from the photo that their prime rib (daily special) was gigantic? Hmmm hmm wonderful! Also, I was pleasantly surprised they put a little horseradish in their mashed potatoes! Neat flavor!

Dessert:
**Warm ginger Peach Bread Pudding**, Vanilla Bean Cheesecake & Coffee Chocolate Bundt Cake

Note: The ginger bread pudding was absolutely wonderful âEUR” not overly sweet with a refreshing ginger taste to end the meal. A must try.

Summary: good food — especially their dessert. Price is on the medium high side. Good atmosphere. Seems like some afternoons there is live music too!
Hungry cactus rating: A
