Located right next to UNM, it is not surprising to find lots of students waiting in line. In fact, we were in line for 30+ minutes. So….that was a definite thumbs down for our Friday lunch group. Good thing though was that there were plenty of seats. And because there were so many people there…it took a long while before we got our food =( If I remember correctly, the entire lunch took 2~2.5 hours. Yikes. O.O
Now…the food was pretty good tasting (authentic and all), but the portions was a tad below satisfactory….I wasn’t quite full even after some grape leaf roll appetizer (last picture below)….which no one dared to try for some reason. (though come to think about it….they didn’t taste that great afterall)
Bottom line, for Mediterranean/Greek food, I suggest going to the nearby Istanbul Cafe (my review) instead for faster service and larger portions without compromising the quality and taste of the food. You’ll understand once you try both.

Hungry Cactus’ verdict: C+
